Dental Implant therapy is that aspect of dentistry which is interested in replacing missing teeth utilizing dental implants. Dr.Gosch is trained for surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. Dr.Gosch utilizes computer guided planning and surgery for optimum results. Many patients are surprised that the actual placement of the implant is painless.
The sequence is usually as follows:
- Diagnostic exam to evaluate whether patient is a candidate for dental implants.
- A referral is made to to Radia Imaging in Everett for a CT scan. Dr.Gosch takes the results of the CT scan and does a computerized, digital placement study of where the implants will be placed. We are one of the premier office which utilizes this technology in our implant phase. This computer study aids the surgeon in an accurate placement of the implants. Implants are placed in the most optimal location for function and longevity.
- Surgical visit which is 60 minutes long with minimal post operative discomfort usually handled with ibuprofen.
- The restorative phase is accomplished in two visits usually two weeks apart.
